P&C Claims Representative
CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE – COMMERCIAL INSURANCE
IPS has an opportunity for a Claims Representative with three or more years of claims experience. Our client company is a rapidly growing, progressive agency.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Review and process claims, directing the workflow between departments
Liaison between client, sales team and carrier
Conduct file reviews, delegate claims to team members, oversee completion checklists, submit claim reports/documentation to insurer, process claim payments
May have some training and supervisory responsibilities
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
In depth knowledge of appropriate insurance principles and laws
Excellent communication skills, ability to speak and listen clearly and build relationships
Positive attitude, professional, motivated
High school degree, college preferred
Minimum 3 years claims experience
Familiarity with insurance agency computer systems, word processing and capable of doing all functions in database with claims information
