The Operations Analysis Manager is responsible for development and enhancement of processes, systems, procedures, and methods throughout the organization with emphasis on uniformity, simplification, quality, and operating efficiency.
This position is within DISH’s Installation and Service group and will be located out of the corporate offices in Englewood, CO.Primary responsibilities include support of DISH’s vehicle fleet and related processes and support of field customers across the country.
Oversees the process of needs analysis with regard to current procedures in order to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments.
Confers with leaders of other departments to establish organizational priorities for operational improvements.
May be responsible for prioritizing the work of others and assigning projects to lower level subordinates based on established goals.
Is responsible for the selection of the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.
Should be able to benchmark and identify best practices from other organizations in order to speed process change.
Creates and establishes performance metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality for various business functions and units.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and controlling.
May be responsible for supervision of a group involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, termination, and disciplinary action.
Ensures improvements are implemented completely and measures the success of all changes to business policy, procedures, and system implementations.
Uses a high level of diplomacy to implement controversial changes and ensure that process owners embrace the changes being made.
Maintains and applies broad knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise.
Relevant Masters degree and one plus years of experience; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and seven plus years of experience; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and nine plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.One plus years experience in a supervisory, mentoring, or project lead capacity.
