Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric ICU
University of Maryland Medical Center, is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with a desire to join our premier pediatric-focused, multidisciplinary team providing high-tech care to infants and children experiencing a variety of complex medical and surgical diagnoses. Our 24-bed intensive and intermediate care unit serves as a referral center for pediatric patients in Maryland and beyond.
This key role provides medical management to a broad age range of children, confers with the health care team to determine appropriate interventions for clinical problems and case management issues and contributes to program planning for family education. The position offers a full time, rotating shift schedule.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program (Acute Care), with Maryland licensure, and at least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience.
