Nurse Manager job, Surgical jobs are open at a major teaching hospital near central Connecticut.
This hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager of their growing and expanding OR.
As Nurse Manager you will provide clinical and administrative leadership for this 17-suite OR Unit, as well as contribute to the development of nursing goals, procedures and standard of care, as well as staff development.
Prior experience in Nurse Management jobs and/or OR Nurse Manager jobs a plus.

Work Experience:

MSN or related field.
5+ years progressive OR nursing experience.
Current Connecticut RN License, Nursing Administration or Clinical Specialty certifications preferred.
Demonstrated organizational, leadership, communication competence.
Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Commitment to excellence in nursing practice, based on current standards and regulations.
Proven ability to manage a budget.
Proven ability to make complex decisions and accept accountability for outcomes.
Prior experience in Nurse Management and OR Nursing Management jobs a plus.
Salary: $95,000 to $105,000 depending upon experience plus benefits and relocation assistance.
