National Service Manager, Water Treatment OEM
Join a rapidly growing and very profitable water treatment company, recognized as one of Fortune 100’s fastest growing companies. Consistent growth in both industrial and municipal water sectors has led to the need for a National Service Manager to lead, train, and motivate a team of field service technicians and equipment engineers located throughout the country.
Essential Job Functions include:
Establish national service program with strategically located field service technicians and engineers throughout the US.
Coordinate training, scheduling, and deployment of all service personnel as required to support the variety of scopes of work and technical disciplines needed for each project.
Prioritize projects and allocate resources per business needs and customer demands.
Maintain the highest levels of Safety and Quality Assurance with all service personnel.
Consolidate overlapping engineering and technical resources from multiple locations as needed.
Establish group performance metrics and project evaluation protocols.
Travel 50-60% to support regional personnel as needed.
Support local Sales teams as required to gain new business.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or other related technical field.
10-15 years of Water Treatment Equipment design, installation, or construction experience
5+ years as a Manager or Supervisor of Field Technicians, Engineers, or Operations personnel
Strong well-rounded trade skills to include mechanical assembly, fabrication, piping/plumbing, electrical, and instrumentation & controls.
Extensive startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment systems for industrial process water applications or municipal water/wastewater systems.
Technical expertise with equipment systems and unit operations such as: reverse osmosis (RO), ultra filtration (UF), multi media filtration (MMF), deionization (DI), electrodeionization (EDI), electrodialysis reversal (EDR), membrane bioreactor (MBR), clarifiers, sludge presses, UV disinfection, ion exchange, dissolved air floatation (DAF), and other related equipment.
Prior P&L management.
Prior experience with specialty chemicals, a plus.
Industry experience within three (3) or more of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Power, Pulp & Paper, Refining, Petrochemical, Steel, Food & Beverage, or Municipal.
Must be creative, innovative and work well in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong Leadership and Customer Service skills.
Flexibility to adapt within a rapidly changing environment.
Compensation includes a very attractive base salary that is commensurate with experience, excellent medical/dental benefits, and bonus plans. Relocation assistance to Phoenix, AZ will be provided for qualified candidates. Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
