We are currently seeking a National Director, Corporate Responsibility to join us in our Montvale office.
Responsibilities:
Support National Managing Partner’s comprehensive corporate engagement strategy to align philanthropic partnerships with overall commercial strategy
Develop innovative civic strategies to realize firm’s corporate responsibility vision and maximize impact through service
Provide counsel to National Managing Partner and collaborate with firm leadership on emerging issues and future trends to shape strategic priorities that support enterprise sustainability
Develop Return on Investment (ROI) work streams and metrics to assess stakeholder perceptions, measure impact of key initiatives, and advance priorities to the next level
Identify leading practices to support KPMG’s goals
Develop and/or sustain strong partnerships with Points of Light, BCLC, CECP, US Chamber
Identify additional entities that provide exposure to thought leadership
Develop comprehensive communication strategy in collaboration with internal and external communications to enhance marketplace presence and strengthen brand recognition
Leverage financial resources to best execute initiatives and programs, maximize philanthropic investments (sponsorships, conferences), and identify cost improvements advantageous to the firm
Promote broader understanding of how strategic relationships underscore commercial business
Cultivate and expand on existing national partnerships to build on the firm’s commitment to support employee volunteerism, community impact, and corporate giving
Develop key national contacts, serving on boards and advisory committees and contributing the thought leadership of the industry through participation in committees and conferences
Identify mechanisms to measure direct and indirect impact on KPMG’s efforts to increase engagement, impact strategic objectives, and enhance brand. Provide recommendations that help achieve stated objectives
Identify speaking opportunities for National Managing Partner that maximize marketplace presence, networking, connectivity with clients and prospective clients, and thought leaders in corporate responsibility space
Develop collateral for external use: reports, videos, brochures, etc.
Remain knowledgeable on current issues and emerging trends in the areas of corporate responsibility, corporate giving, citizenship, workplace volunteerism, and service
Collaborate internally with Human Resources Communications, Marketing, the KPMG Foundation, KPMG Disaster Relief fund, Global Grants Program, Global Sustainability, and Ethics/Integrity to support the firm’s vision of corporate responsibility
Identify recognition and award opportunities in the areas of workforce readiness, corporate responsibility, and volunteerism
Write and submit for publication articles on corporate responsibility topics
Qualifications:
Ten years of experience in corporate responsibility, corporate governance, corporate citizenship, human resources, or related background in non-profit management, corporate communications, public relations, or community affairs
Strong relationship management experience, both in the corporate arena and with non-profit organizations, with excellent understanding of non-profit board roles
Exceptional executive presence with ability to engage with C-suite executives and inspire confidence of firm leadership
Demonstrated fiscal management responsibilities
Demonstrated strategist and leadership skills with ability to manage, mobilize, and motivate teams in highly collaborative environment
Specialized knowledge of and network of contacts in the corporate and non-profit sectors in order to act as knowledge resource internally and represent the firm externally, including a network of community leaders, philanthropists, businesses, and non-profits
Demonstrated individual commitment to community engagement
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university
