The location for this position is flexible with preference to: Raleigh, NC and Chicago, IL.
Using a consultative sales approach, the National Accounts Service Sales Manager will be responsible for driving Eaton's Power Quality Service groups overall success with a focused set of National Accounts to increase the net present value of Eaton's relationship with these customers to drive incremental revenue growth.
The National Accounts Service Sales Manager is to develop and sustain relationships at the "C" and "D" Level at the customer and with centralized engineering, operations and purchasing executives. The candidate must have expert knowledge of the service industry, technology, opportunities, problems, business drivers and competitors for each assigned customer. This position with set the strategy for how we will grow our business with the assigned National Accounts, will leverage internal resources within the service sales team, the representative network/sales group, the general sales force and our channel partners to pursue and capture qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities:
. Manage all aspects of the relationship with assigned manufacturer representatives and other identified channels. . Research and identify National Account customers and target markets for incremental sales growth. . Conduct market and competitive pricing analysis with other internal teams to ensure service / product portfolio is competitive. . Communicate and drive corrective strategies or actions across various functional groups. . Plan promotional activities and presentations with key channel partners and end users to evaluate solutions over competitors. . Business plan development and execution with assigned sales teams. . Technical presentations - Technical quotation and proposal generation.
(The location of this position is flexible with preference to one of the major office locations for Eaton.) Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Requirements:
. Bachelor's Degree in technical field, marketing, or business administration required; Masters or MBA preferred . Previous experience working with distributors, resellers, manufacturer representatives, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and end users focusing on the mission critical, information technology and power quality market required . 7-10 years sales experience with quota responsibilities of $10M+ preferred . 5+ experience directly in the service industry required. . Experience with other types power quality and distribution products preferred but not required . Previous experience and proven technical ability to value sell and position products and services over competitors. . Excellent organization and time management skills required. . Strong business acumen with proven sales strategic plan implementation with measurable results. . Strong interpersonal skills . Strong team player that actively contributes to the group's success . Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills . Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload . Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet .
