Mgr-Pricing (Mktg) - Small Business Segment
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years experience in marketing, finance, or related field
• 2-5 years experience in wireless/telecommunications industry
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a high paced environment
• Strong leadership, consensus-building and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze complex issues and determine appropriate course of action
• Ability to effectively interface with senior management
• Business case development and analysis
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and function as an effective individual
• Proven ability to manage a group of professionals to deliver on tight timelinesDevelop and manage service pricing and promotions for the Small Business segment related to customer acquisition for voice and data products. Work with segment and product teams to understand market pricing initiatives. Responsible for service pricing for Small Business including but not limited to Voice, Email and Mobile Broadband. Serve as an escalation point when issues and problems arise. Manage teams and work with the Area Marketing teams to provide guidance and gain consensus.
Propose, validate and implement new Small Business pricing/promotions for voice and data
• Design pricing structures that are aligned with the overarching company strategy
• Create and/or modify existing pricing structures that provide customer value
• Determine appropriate pricing structure for segment-specific initiatives
• Interface with senior staff to present detailed plans designed to meet subscriber growth targets
• Work with the Customer Insights Group as well as field personnel to understand the calamities and threats
Assess market demand, customer adoption and elasticity for various product and services
• Work with the product teams to understand current and future cost structures
• Understand emerging technologies and their potential impact on small business pricing
• Understand the competitive environment and competitor's capabilities
• Work closely with the finance team in order to understand the financial implications
• Develop business cases to support the proposed pricing or promotion
Manage the overall implementation of new pricing initiatives
• Lead cross functional teams to understand operational capabilities and constraints related to Training, OSTs, Areas, Finance, Product teams, PR, MarComm, Compensation and others
• Facilitate the overall process of developing, approving and implementing pricing initiatives & work with cross functional teams to launch new pricing/promotions.
