Mgr-Business Analysis
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or CFA preferred.
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience. 3-5 years Business Planning and forecasting experience required.
Wireless financial analysis experience or extensive knowledge and understanding of wireless industry trends and key business drivers.
Business case development/financial modeling experience required (including NPV, payback, OCF analysis).
Customer segmentation planning, reporting and analysis/ competitive and pricing positioning analysis (including model development) /Cellular revenue and product analysis experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership and communication s is a key position responsible for a variety of tasks related to the Company's acquisition strategy. The Position interfaces with varying band levels in other functional areas within Verizon Wireless including Network, Strategic Planning, Regulatory, Legal and will also be required to interface with various governmental agencies. The manager may also identify process breakdowns, which directly affect the financial statements, and develop a process to implement to solve outstanding business issues prior to closing; interface with legal to support the transaction close; coordinate with finance to ensure that funding arrangements are in place, and accounting and tax matters are addressed.
Reviews and prepares procedures for participation by the Company in any FCC or third-party Development of presentations for Verizon Wireless senior management, Chairman's Leadership Committee (CLC) and Boards of Directors (both Verizon Wireless and Verizon Communications)-outlining risks and opportunities.
Supports the Due Diligence process, including data and document requests, coordinating the flow of information responses to the functional subject matter experts, incorporating their reviews and recommendations into the deal negotiations.
Works with network and strategy/business planning to determine long-term spectrum strategy - i.e., determining our preferred types and uses of spectrum.
Partners with transaction attorneys and business contacts to ensure the resolution of business issues are reflected in the negotiated deal terms and conditions.
Interfaces with Headquarters and Area transition personnel to ensure that resources and transition plans are in place to integrate the acquired wireless system.
