Reports to: Senior Project Management, Operations Role: Are you conversant in the latest technologies & trends? Do you like to innovate, tinker, and experiment? As the leader in patient recruitment, especially e-Recruitment, Acurian is constantly evolving our online marketing to become more effective and break new ground. This role will develop, execute, and manage a wide variety of online recruitment strategies and campaigns to quickly and cost-effectively enroll patients into U.S. and International clinical trials. You'll stay on top of new trends, find creative solutions to e-marketing challenges, respond to customer and client demands, and be on the forefront of innovating new methods of recruiting patients. Responsibilities: Ownership of the setup, implementation, and daily management of online and social media initiatives across all ongoing campaigns Innovate & refine techniques to: o Increase online conversion of responders into acquisitions, o Manage downwards the cost per conversion on every initiative, o Target demographics/psychographics more effectively, o Master online recipes for each advertising tactic Work side-by-side with Acurians proprietary network of online partnerships, to maximize recruitment contributions, ROI, and test new offerings Liaise regularly with Project Managers to identify e-Recruitment contribution targets & deadlines, and meet or exceed those goals Identify emerging trends and opportunities for Acurians business model to grow and further develop in the e-Marketing landscape Drive innovative design in the online patient interface, with the goal of encouraging click-through and conversion in each step of the e-Recruitment process Monitor competition, market size, e-marketing/e-recruitment trends and technologies, communication channels and practices that may impact trial recruitment. Analyze every market/campaign by tracking progress of recruitment efforts against key performance indicators, and work to drive performance to new levels Requirements: At least 3 years experience in a marketing or advertising function At least 2 years experience managing e-Marketing campaigns with demonstrated knowledge of online marketing tactics, strategy development, campaign optimization, and R.O.I. improvement Fluency in major social networking sites, Web 2.0 and future iterations, Mobile Media & Advertising, and a strong grasp over emerging trends in e-marketing. An understanding and appreciation for tracking conversion at every step & calculating ROI on every effort Comfortable with the urgency of making decisions in real-time, to achieve right-now results, while contemplating the revenue implications of decisions Desired attributes: An innovator with a desire to try out new ideas An agent for change, always seeking to improve what is already working well The need to operate in a results-based environment Passion for turning real-time metrics into strategic insight, and onto immediate action Knowledge of pharmaceutical research & development and patient recruitment will be appreciated, but is not necessary Strong written and oral communications skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Acurian offers health, dental, vacation, 401K and other benefits.
