Senior Data Analyst - Consumer Products Advanced Analytics Group Position Description
This positionwill work with our analytic team developing creative analytical approaches to business issues with available data and presenting findings to the client. The candidate must have business interest/expertise and the ability to grasp issues from a client and industry perspective. Required is a strong desire to gain insight into client issues through the use of structured analytical approach.
Some of the duties include:
Development of ad-hoc and recurring analytical projects under the direction of the Director of Analytics.
Identifying, developing and presenting to the client analytical insights in the form of powerpoint presentations and reports/dashboards.
Validating and monitoring of all data reporting methods to ensure the client reporting is incorporating all Best Practices.
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive analysis on key client business issues and identifying future opportunities (example, converting Data Analysis into Modeling opportunities).
Cross-training of other analytic team members
This role requires extensive experience with very large datasets and relies heavily on programming (SAS and SQL) expertise.
A background in quantitative and statistical methods is critical.
Experience using a broad range of data platforms, formats, manipulation and processing techniques - and the ability to structure findings and summarize implications into reports and decks for the client - is a must.
Must have Media or Entertainment Industry experience.
