Growing, Global Company is adding to the team due to growth. Company continues to experience significant growth over the past years and is also continuing that growth with well received new product introductions this year and planned future years. This person will be the lead as the Company continues to branding and exposure through conventions, symposiums, trade shows and presentations events.
Lead the strategy, planning, coordination and implementation of all details for conventions and managing the exhibits team
Define and implementing all standard operations procedures, internal systems, tools, processes and best practices
Responsibilities:
Strengthen brand and maximize company exposure in the wound care market, by identifying strategic exhibit marketing, promotional and sponsorship opportunities.
Develop and implement the overall convention marketing plan, aligned with corporate business objectives.
Initiate, plan and lead the execution of tradeshow booth strategies at national medical meetings/conventions. Additionally, responsible for coordinating with other internal groups on ancillary symposia, customer events.
Deliver a world-class convention experience to internal and external customers working with industry partners, vendors and hotels to. Negotiate contracts and manages relationships with outside vendors. Turnkey management and coordination of all aspects of conventions/meetings (i.e., booth design and logistics, equipment rental, set-up and dismantling, shipping / transportation, conference registration, housing, etc.).
Develop objectives and strategies and measure effectiveness of exhibit and event marketing activities. Manage convention lead generation process. Prepare ROI evaluations, post-show analyses and recommendations.
Manage annual budget and detailed reconciliations of each convention, meeting or event.
Manage, maintain and recommend continuous improvements for all booth properties and assets. Stay current on trends and innovations in experiential / exhibit marketing (i.e., booth design, audiovisual, multimedia, presentation, and interactive technologies, etc.).
Lead and develop team of 2-3 people
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in managing a National Exhibits Program with at least 2 years experience in medical device industry
Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience developing and implementing overall convention marketing plan, aligned with corporate business objectives
Experience with execution of tradeshow booth strategies at national medical meetings/conventions
Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
