We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for Marketing Manager to join our team of over 20,000 global employees. In this role you will be supporting a recently established brand which Quintiles are taking responsibility for within their new Brand Solution offering.
Quintiles Brand Solutions
Quintiles Brand Solutions offer companies a totally comprehensive commercial solution which ultimately can involve us taking strategic and tactical responsibility for a Brand across single or multiple geographies.
A major target market is small pharma and biotech companies who have innovative products but limited internal capability our Brand Solutions are a viable alternative to outlicensing to big pharma or building their own infrastructure. Brand Solutions are also applicable to mid-sized and large pharma companies for brands which are not/no longer their strategic priorities.
Brand Solutions pull together capabilities from our Commercial, Clinical and Consulting arms and are tailored to the needs of each particular opportunity. We will take responsibility for launch planning, implementation and management through a dedicated headcount structure for each opportunity.
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will be 100% dedicated to a recently won Brand Solution partnership in the US. The position will report to the General Manager leading the partnership for Quintiles, and be responsible for managing the comercial and promotional aspects of the brand within the US market. There will also be close alignment to the global Brand Solutions team.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: elops and drives the Marketing & Promotional Plan. Develops annual marketing budgets. May include research and evaluation of new products. Implements local marketing strategies to promote products, including pricing and packaging strategies. Establishes research strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions; prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.

es materials: Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials (printed materials, support materials, etc); always in coordination with marketing HQ and as a default following HQ directives in terms of messaging. Such message might be modulated or adapted to match specific local interests or needs. A high degree of supervised autonomy may be granted.
elops and maintains professional contacts and affiliations with the local and national medical community, including related associations if any.
pares for and attends congresses, conferences, and other local, regional, and international medical meetings. Manage exhibit space at local, national, and international conferences, as applicable.
ducts, or assists in conducting portions of market research activities to identify targeted populations, including potential prescribers, and to identify the appropriate means for promoting the products.
pares and maintains accurate sales and manufacturing forecasts.

Requirements:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
4 year degree (B.A., B.S. or equivalent), with some kind of life sciences major or graduate program preferred
Minimum 5 years marketing experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with at least 2 of those at a marketing management level.
Knowledge of communication and advertising principles, media, and marketing strategies and techniques; excellent written and oral communication skills.
