Position Description We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented marketing professional to join our team TripAdvisor for Business as marketing manager, reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications. The role will be responsible for executing a wide array of Business to business marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities Will Include:
Support the Director of marketing communications in creation, execution and analysis of all campaigns and initiatives designed to increase awareness and purchase results of the TripAdvisor for Business products and services. Manage all of TripAdvisor's B2B marketing campaigns, including online advertising, media planning, offline advertising and TripAdvisor's for Business site section creative and messaging development. Work closely with external agencies and vendors on planning, evaluation and execution of creative concepts and media placements, including drafting creative briefs, reviewing media plans, setting up tracking links and trafficking creative. Ensure media plans are successfully executed in print, online, on TripAdvisor's site, and non-traditional (such as help our social media team) campaigns. Coordinate design, content, sponsorship elements, traffic and technical resources to meet multiple, interdependent deadlines. Developing product specifications which translate and balance business needs, customer needs and technological capabilities into site features and enhancements Manage, develop and implement marketing programs and projects relating to TripAdvisor's Business campaigns which will include off- and on-line campaign management and the management of outside vendors. Help identify non-traditional opportunities to promote the TripAdvisor for Business products and services Provides support to internal sales and marketing organizations by providing advice on marketing issues, managing marketing budgets, and representing their interests in relations with retained agencies & vendors
Hiring Requirements
4+ years of experience in B2B marketing is ideal, or alternatively where brand or consumer marketing was an essential component of responsibility. Proven track record of developing market positions and managing metrics-oriented marketing campaigns Strong interpersonal, negotiating and diplomatic skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline Must be able to plan and organize major marketing programs and coordinate development of creative and media materials by agencies/vendors and internal creative team Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Specific experience and success in offline and online buying and planning experience required; non-traditional marketing experience a plus Ability to think creatively Ability to think strategically, analyze a problem and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth Exceptional knowledge of the internet, online marketing technologies and best practices Strong organization and analytic skills absolutely required Fluent in English and at least one other European language Ability to travel globally as required Teamwork skills essential; sense of humor preferred
