As Marketing Coordinator this position works with the Sales and Operations team under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager on Sales and Marketing initiatives including the following:
* Development/production/coordination/distribution of marketing collaterals * High emphasis on external Producer (client) meetings
* Building and facilitating Producer relationships * Coordination of sales strategy calls via Sales Tool * Conducting sales calls on prospective and renewing business * Development/production sales proposals * Development/production of reporting pertinent to sales * Attendance at meetings with brokers industry events / symposiums * Coordination and participation in trade shows and symposiums * Collaboration with carriers and vendors to organize annual broker meetings * Customer Service to Producers
Other responsibilities include cross training to back up other team positions
Qualifications
* Life & Disability Agent's License (may be obtained after employment) * BA/BS degree is preferred * Experience in sales, marketing and design * Ability to think critically and identify new opportunities for business development and expansion
* Experience in insurance customer service or account management; underwriting experience is a plus * Strong analytical and mathematical skills * Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and publishing/design software * Demonstrated ability to develop and foster successful business relationships * Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment * Ability to work independently and on a team * Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, manage difficult situations professionally, and respond to client needs promptly * Present self with professionalism * Demonstrate attention to detail and practice principles of confidentiality * Work well under pressure and demonstrate follow through
