| Marketing Coordinator Post Date: 07/20/2010 Location: Burnaby , BC Assignment: Temporary Pay Rate: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour Start Date: 07/29/2010 Job Order Number: 523-006376 Requirements: The ideal Marketing Coordinator will have a Bachelors degree in marketing and/or communications, coupled with 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Previous experience in a technical/ software company is considered an asset. The successful Marketing Coordinator will have exceptional writing abilities, have knowledge of marketing tactics and practices. Previous experience with web tracking software is considered an asset. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to effectively present and communicate marketing initiatives, must be organized and have a strong attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills are necessary and familiarity with Adobe Creative suite is an asset. Description: Our client in Burnaby is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a temporary to full time opportunity. This role will begin as a Marketing Assistant role and within the first year, develop into a Marketing Coordinator role. The ideal Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative, creative and campaign support to the Sales and Marketing departments. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for clerical, research and project based work. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the creation of email programs and campaigns, facilitate the support of social marketing tactics, help to manage the company's customer relationship management and collateral program, managing the scheduling and promotion of web events, research new market opportunities, assist and manage Public Relations programs and plans, assist in event participation and travel arrangements, and additional duties as requires.
