Marketing Coord Annual Fund & Alumni Relations (#20091523)
Position Summary: Create direct mail and online marketing materials for fundraising efforts for $28-million annual fund and general alumni relations outreach with consistent campaign branding and messaging. Incorporate campaign branding and messaging across multiple channels. Work closely with web communications and marketing team to integrate annual fund marketing and alumni relations outreach into expanded online presence and print materials. Manage $300,000+ design and printing budget and outside vendors; give creative direction to ,designers, print and production staff. Help test and track direct marketing communications for optimal results. Support the development of marketing materials for campaign initiatives by individual schools and colleges of NYU.
Required Experience: 3 years experience planning and implementing print and/or web marketing campaigns and writing marketing and communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience writing, editing and overseeing direct mail and online marketing materials for fundraising campaigns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent writing and organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to generate creative ideas and work independently. Demonstrated ability in writing and editing - skilled copywriter and proofreader with meticulous attention to detail. Skilled in spreadsheet, database and desktop publishing software. Project management skills and ability to manage the work of outside vendors including designers and web and print production staff.
