Marketing Brand Manager (Sports Marketing/Sales)We are looking for a Brand Manager to lead the marketing team in the strategy, conception, development, and delivery of all Forum, Foursquare and Special Blend brand related projects. This role will work in conjunction with the Global Sales and Product teams as well as internal and external creative teams. Some specific accountabilities include:
* Lead retail marketing and event efforts with the support of the GM, sales and marketing teams. * Develop and maintain the project list and timeline for each project. * Develop and maintain procedures to ensure services are well executed and on time. * Create and monitor a detailed distribution plan for each deliverable. * Create a consensus on project direction, with Sales, Marketing, Senior Management, and Product. * Perform internal kick-offs, generate creative/project briefs, perform kick-offs with designers/contractors. * Manage efforts, work processes and schedules of the Marketing team to deliver marketing programs. * Coordinate global marketing efforts with regional Sales Directors, Team Director and Marketing teams. * Execute overall marketing brand strategy in coordination with Marketing, Team, Sales and Product for all Program brands. * Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, via the collective efforts of the Marketing team and its agencies and vendors. * Works with Team Director to ensure smooth and professional interaction with global team riders. * Builds direct relationships with regional brand and sales managers to coordinate and customize region specific marketing programs. * Evaluate market reactions to activities to influence the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions. * Adheres to strict predetermined budgets and timelines, with real-time visibility of status. * Builds and maintains a deep understanding of snowboarding and the snowboard industry and culture.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or other appropriate field and at least 4 years of direct brand management or associate brand management experience, preferably in the action sports industry. S/he must be highly motivated and have a demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to final details. Must have excellent knowledge of snowboarding product and industry.
