Marketing Associate

- Assisting in planning marketing campaigns and projects
- Researching target advertising in all media for niche markets
- Cataloging and management of digital photo and film archives
- Gathering and filing of press materials
- Assisting in website editing, FTP uploading & video/photo embedding
- Maintaining direct mail and electronic mailing lists
- Executing social media initiatives.
- Coordinating and assisting with distribution of promotional materials
- Working performance evenings and weekends as needed
- Maintaining database of public officials, community, and arts community contacts
- Drafting informational materials to distribute to community leaders and civic groups
- Assisting with identifying and cultivating relationships with community leaders and institutions
- Attending community events/meetings as required
- Performing other marketing duties as assigned and required
  • Bachelor's degree or at least two years experience in the marketing field; knowledge of the performing arts, ability to work independently and interact with the general public, strong team player, excellent organizational skills and detail oriented; excellent computer skills with emphasis on proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, website content management (HTML & Flash experience a plus); experience/Interest in Internet media and social networking sites; excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative thinking.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is also desirable, but not required.
