The Manager of Marketing Communications has responsibility for developing annual marketing communications strategies, objectives, plans and the effective execution of programs and tactical activities supporting the growth of existing and new products into a diverse range of international markets with annual sales of $300 million. This position will also maintain and oversee the promotion and consistency of the brand across all regions and platforms, including customers, suppliers, employees and external stakeholders and include the following: Develop integrated marcom plans including all tactical elements from printed materials (including product brochures, advertisements, tradeshow graphics), to public relations, web site and online communications, tradeshow and event planning. Manage creative deliverables from internal and external sources, including outsourced creative firms and agencies. Branding of all lines including creation of media plans to generate awareness, and ensure consistency in all communications, brochures, tradeshows, web site and other channels. Business unit liaison with corporate legal to ensure registrations are renewed and protected from infringement. Manage procurement and inventorying of branded promotional items. Develop/write press releases, by-lined contributed articles, product announcements, and support and generate other earned editorial placements in targeted publications. Secure and coordinate speaking engagements in conjunction with tradeshows/conferences. Work closely with executive staff and corporate colleagues on special projects and new initiatives. Work closely with operating locations to provide guidance and support to local PR/Communications initiatives. Write and edit all web content for the divisional site. Develop portal pages in conjunction with media and advertising efforts. Develop lead generating forms as a response mechanism for web visitor. Track web traffic. Assist international affiliate sites in updates. Identify and implement new methods, including digital and social media, for reaching online influencers to supplement and complement traditional marcom approaches. Develop processes that streamline online outreach and effectively leverage external web site. Manage booth system for domestic and international shows. Develop and manage tradeshow calendar and all aspects/logistics of the shows. Manage outsourced tradeshow companies in development of business unit booths.
