The Opportunity: Leverage your sales experience and leadership abilities to manage the Training Sales Consultant team, a geographically dispersed group responsible for ensuring that ESRI training is an integral element of all software and services sales.
Department Educational Services - Domestic Sales Support
The Team: Share your knowledge and passion for GIS with our customers around the world! As a member of our Educational Services team, you will have the opportunity to help our customers continue to learn about GIS and ESRI technology, whether by teaching a class in our regional offices or developing content for a Web-based course. We are seeking dynamic individuals who are subject matter experts with an education in GIS-related fields and experience with ESRI software.
Responsibilities Lead a team focused on growing the ESRI training program according to ESRI goals; define a central strategy for identifying and meeting customer needs. Promote corporate sales objectives, messages, and directives and socialize them with the training sales support team. Develop and execute the national sales plan for ESRI training solutions. Collaborate with ESRI Sales, Marketing, and Educational Services management to analyze sales support needs, forecast ongoing and upcoming business trends, and adjust strategies. Manage and direct training sales activities for sales staff through managing opportunities and relationships with account management teams. Manage and lead training sales consultants to ensure their professional development. Execute all sales operations including business unit integration, reporting, CRM, travel, strategic event selection, and staffing; develop related procedures and requirements from the ground up. Advance relationships with existing high value partners and develop relationships with new partners.
Requirements Bachelors or masters in business administration, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to articulate vision and strategy and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders. Five or more years of experience selling IT solutions. Minimum of four years of experience supervising/managing a remote sales staff. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently. Customer focused, both internally and externally, with proven collaborative skills and abilities. Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Recommended Qualifications Knowledge of and experience with ESRI technology or other GIS products. Knowledge of . Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
