Overview:
Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for Manager - Corporate Communications and Community Relations which will be located in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Accountabilities:
Macys Inc National and Cincinnati Central Office Communications-National communication includes ongoing research, writing and editing for print, online and other vehicles on a wide variety of topics.
Local communication includes leadership and support for community relations activities, Diversity Council and Social Activities events and Employee Resource group activities
Cincinnati Central Office Community Relations- Project planning, event set-up, charity liaison, committee leadership/participation
Communication leadership for internal fundraising campaigns (such as United Way/Arts Wave) and employee volunteer program (Partners in Time) projects, including Bag Hunger and school partnership days
Skills Summary:
Bachelor's degree is required
Degree in communication, public relations, journalism preferred but not required
At least 5 years of experience in communication with strong writing/editing skills and some design skills is required
Retail or related field experience preferred but not required
