Job Description : The location for this positon is open within easy commuting distance to New York City. Position Summary We are seeking a high energy, people-oriented individual to join our field sales team. This individual will be responsible for managing the key account broadcast sales activity with special focus on any major networks with multiple national facilities throughout the U.S. This individual will be expected to achieve their respective key account's sales plan, keep expenses within budget, work with Marketing and the Critical Communications Business Line to insure successful sales efforts are properly designed and enhanced and make sure that key account sales activity conforms to sales department policies. Many of the major network accounts including Disney (ABC), CBS, ESPN, Time Warner (AOL), United Nation, YES Network and NY1 are located in New York City. The location for the position is open, however the qualified candidate must reside in a location that provides easy access to New York City. Principal Responsibilities • Provide or coordinate support to assigned key account customers to help achieve their annual total sales goal. • Provide or coordinate Sales Support for key account customers in the form of training assistance, quotations, project design and any specific customer requirements. • Provide or coordinate Technical Support for key account customers in the form of product issue resolution, installation assistance, project support with internal or external TS personnel • Understand, strengthen and enhance relationships with all key internal and external client personnel to increase mind share, influence and sense of teamwork. • Direct channel development activities by instinctively identifying opportunities and coordinating with appropriate internal departments to support these efforts. • Support Regional Sales Organization efforts at A&E level, end- user and dealer levels. • Strive for same or next day response with customer issues. • Be a key team playe Job Requirements : Education Preferred: Associate's Degree in Communications or similar field Experience Minimum: 5 years experience with the broadcast industry with a focus on intercom or sophisticated broadcast systems. Ability to understand, design and modify complex broadcast systems Special Skills The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, solid industry and product specific knowledge, plus the ability to successfully generate and close business. A strong knowledge of Microsoft office software package is required. This position requires extensive travel (40-60%)
