The APAC Display Advertising Sales and Marketplace team is looking for a Manager who will be responsible for managing global and regional key accounts for Y! Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate for this role will be a revenue-motivated leader who can establish strong working relationships, understand clients' objectives and priorities, partner with Y! sales development, products teams and agency partners to provide unique, innovative solutions for clients that deliver revenue both short and long-term.
The successful candidate will display strong relationship building skills, the ability to follow-through with action items and respond quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and timelines, and a demonstrated track record of growing engagement and business with large advertisers and agency accounts. Past experience working on Internet advertising products, traditional media business, and an understanding of communications and media planning, measurements and advertiser marketing strategies and tactics (online or offline) is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Strengthen relationship with prioritized global and regional accounts and their agencies § Deepen engagement with clients and understand the needs, priorities and objectives of clients. § Develop regional strategy to grow accounts. § Drive thought leadership externally. § Collaborate with teams within Yahoo! to develop solutions to meet the marketing priority of the accounts. Coordinate and pitch opportunities. § Educate and evangelize Y! solutions. Consult account stakeholders on marketing and media strategy. § Drive communications externally with client/agency and internally across Yahoo!.
Skill Sets : § Deep knowledge of online media market § Experience in concept selling § Ability to close a sale § Working experience on communications planning, media planning, and traditional media business is preferred. § Deep understanding of media budgeting process § Able to understand and present compelling advertising solutions § Ability to foster strong client and agency relationships § A strong team player & be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. § Exceptional presentation & organizing skills. § Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English & one other Asian language is preferred but not essential. § Self-motivated with can-do attitude. § Some travel is required.
Qualifications: § 10 years of experience of managing MNC clients & global agency accounts. § MBA preferred
