Kelly IT Resources has an immediate need for a 6 month contract Database Migration Consultant to fill in for the CRM Business Analytics Director located in Beaverton, OR for a local sportswear manufacturer.
Job Description: The Business Analytics Lead role will be backfilling both Director, Consumer Knowledge and Director, Business Analytics roles. The primary focus would be to spend 100% of their time helping with the Acxiom Migration. The Consumer Knowledge role is focused on consumer insights and more advanced SAS analytics. The CRM Business Analytics role is focused on macro-level business reporting and analytics and will own the new Unica Campaign Management function (post Acxiom migration). There will be an overlap during the first and last month to help this resource get ramped up initially and then transition this role back.
Acxiom Migration
Collaboratively work with the project manager and team leads to develop the business plan and resource assignments for business supported activities (e.g., Testing, Training, Deploy/Cut-Over)
Work with Testing lead/UAT Test Lead to jointly develop plan and business resource assignments to support UAT test cases/scripts creation and execution
Responsible for collaborating with Training Lead to define the training approach for the business and consumer teams
Be a strong business advocate during all aspects of the migration to ensure high priority business requirements are being addressed
Lead and coach the business and consumer team members on UAT Test Scenarios and test case/script creation
Responsible for performing quality reviews of the Test scenarios, test cases/scripts and test results
Responsible for managing day to day issues/risk escalation and resolution of all business related project issues and risks
Providing coaching and support to team members - help them by dividing work based on skill level/exp, and prioritizing and manage workload
Helping the business/consumer team members manage the balance between getting things done and getting things done with 100% perfection (80/20 rule)
Proactively monitor team members progress and deliverable quality and help team members by providing coaching and support
Proactively anticipate issues, risks, decisions and mitigate risks
Technical & Analytical Skills
Expertise in statistical analysis complemented with evidence of strong data analysis skills including but not limited to trend analysis, statistical significance, summary statistics, etc...
Develop actionable information to inform business decisions and functions
knowledge of SAS and reporting tools
