Purpose of Position:
The primary role of this position is to develop, coordinate and execute marketing strategy and tactics for us to drive growth of the assigned international regions. The position will utilize the internal and external expertise and resources from the Business organization, Marketing Communications team, Vertical Marketing team, e-commerce team, photographer, and advertising agencies. The Marketing Manager ensures that all Business marketing strategy/communication is consistent with the Business strategy.
Essential Functions:
-Participate in strategic plan for the Business and Municipal/Industrial Business plans.
-Participate in VOC studies as necessary to support strategic initiatives.
-Develop and execute annual Business marketing plans and budgets with focus on creating awareness internally/externally, gaining widespread customer acceptance of Business Value Proposition and driving lead generation, utilizing all appropriate communication platforms and media for marketing activities.
-Create and deliver advertising, direct mail, tradeshow presence and other outbound communications.
Integrate communications schedule into our master promotional/circulation plan.
-Develop and prepare Business sales tools and presentations, working closely with Business Product Line Manager, Director of Business and Sales team.
-Responsible for establishing, tracking and counter measuring metrics for the team to track project success, drive campaign effectiveness and guide future marketing tactical development.
-Assist in driving process development and improvements for the Business and Marketing team.
-Establish best practices in US to roll out to Latin America (assigned international region for this role).
Education, Background and Skill Requirements -Business/ Marketing degree with 5-7 years marketing experience, preference to Business related marketing experience
-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing plans to build awareness and generate demand
-Demonstrated experience in developing integrated campaigns with measurable results
-Bilingual English-Spanish fluency required; Portuguese a plus
-Market segmentation and profiling skills
-Meeting and event planning and facilitation skills
-Strong customer service skills; willing to put forth extra time and effort as necessary
-Demonstrated ability to work within fixed budgetary guidelines
-Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
-Must be able to proof and edit copy and layout design
-Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
-Strong PC skills. Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat.
-Able to work productively in an open-office environment
