Intern - Social Media and Publishing Market Research

Position Summary:
The Publishing Market Research Intern will assist in the development of Peterson?s presence and positive positioning in a variety of social media spaces such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. This role will monitor activity, post relevant content and engage in dialogue with the fan base. This role will have an interest in marketing, specifically in the social media space and a strong understanding and working knowledge of the different functionalities and capabilities of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Applies experience with multimedia production to assist with the creation of videos that will be used in various social media spaces - Assisting the publishing team with executing the social media strategy for the product line of books - Monitor Peterson?s daily posts and tweets through a social publisher and search and post for current event articles and related videos - Help grow Peterson?s fan base by engaging in positive and productive conversation and discussion with said base - Assist the publishing team with setting up new social media accounts and monitoring activity of existing accounts -Assist in the research and promotion for book and/or media materials
