Looking for a change? Want to make a difference in the lives of youth athletes? Help to transform youth sports so sports can transform youth by bringing the Positive Coaching Alliance message to coaches, parents and athletes.

Positive Coaching Alliance is a national nonprofit organization based in the Stanford University Department of Athletics with the mission to "transform youth sports so sports can transform youth." PCA provides training to coaches, parents, and youth sports organization leaders on how to use the youth sports experience to teach young athletes positive character traits and "life lessons." Our mission requires a nationwide presence to bring PCA partnerships to every area of the United States. More information about PCA is available at


The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing partnership opportunities in developing and Out-of-Territory (OOT) markets, in which PCA currently does not have a local presence. Key in this process is demonstrating the value of PCA programs for youth sport organizations (YSOs) and schools, resulting in an increased PCA Partnership base. The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Director of Partner Development. The office location will be in Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Sales focused attitude
* Strong cold calling, negotiating and closing skills
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Confident verbal presentation skills
* Strong organizational skills: Must be able to multi-task effectively and have strong time management skills
* Conceptual selling skill is a plus; Must understand the products and position them with prospects
* Proven initiative/self-starter
* Passion for the PCA mission
* Experience with youth sports is strongly desirable
* Strong computer skills

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

* Prospect for partnership leads
* Identify key decision makers and the approval process within organizations
* Add quality prospects to existing pipeline on a weekly basis
* Negotiate and close partnerships with YSOs and Schools
* Maintain pro-active relationship with all Partners & Clients
* Foster high level of morale & commitment towards PCA
* Assist Partner Development Team with market research and account management tasks as needed

Hours and Compensation

* Minimum of 20 hours/week (potential for flexible work schedule)
* $10/hour, plus commission and bonus structure
* There is no cap on commission
