JOB DESCRIPTION:


THE OPPORTUNITY: Sell our cutting edge wireless technology product that sells itself! CLEAR, our 4th generation (WiMax) wireless network technology is blazing fast. THE ROLE: The Indirect Sales Manager is a sales leadership position responsible for developing, driving, and expanding our market presence in indirect distribution channel. The Indirect Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, developing, and mentoring a winning sales team that is highly transactional and customer centric.  The selected candidate will be the primary contributor to the vision and roadmap of the indirect channel strategy by creating and executing a market business plan, directing and overseeing daily business operations, and managing all sales personnel in accordance with company strategy.


 


 


WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Develop a comprehensive business plan and market strategy within the local indirect channel footprint to continuously grow dealer network and sales outlets.

  • Evangelize the value of Clear by assisting in the identification, recruitment, and management  of distributors to sell the Clear product and proactively seek out ways to increase productivity and revenue performance.

  • Plan and facilitate daily sales team meetings to provide continuous involvement in day-to-day business development, prospecting, networking, and sales generating activities.

  • Create and foster a winning sales culture across all channels by coaching, developing and motivating employees to achieve both individual and company objectives.

  • Leverage all employee communication vehicles and opportunities (weekly/monthly/quarterly/one-on-ones) to obtain and provide consistent feedback on unit goals, gain input on action plans and modify direction as necessary to ensure employee development and engagement and to hold employees accountable to overall business results.

    • Conduct ongoing analysis and sales forecasting for indirect distribution channel to ensure targets for sales, revenue, and customer growth, retention, and satisfaction are attained.

    • Partner and collaborate with all cross-functional teams required to execute market plans, assuring all related activities are coordinated and mutually supportive to achieve local revenue goals.

    • Resolve all conflicts and offer continuous support to Clear’s indirect partner sales force to ensure channel harmony.  




 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 3+ years of sales and leadership experience within an indirect channel.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a highly transactional, fast paced, quota driven environment.

  • Experience identifying, recruiting, training distributors.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow an indirect channel, dealer network or business from scratch; start up experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of how to manage and motivate internal sales personnel and distributors to sell a product.

  • Exceptional leader with passion and dedication for mentoring and coaching sales reps to success.

  • Experience developing and implementing successful strategic business plans and analyzing sales data for continuous strategy optimization.

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured work environment and positively adapt to change.

  • Demonstrated work ethic coupled with ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a competitive, performance -driven culture; excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Established professional network in the local community preferred

  •  Strong ability to foster meaningful business relationships with superior communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours to participate in evening and weekend events.

  • Knowledge of wireless, data communications, voice and telecommunications technology a plus.

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office and the internet.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
