Graduate Assistant for Compliance (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
Our University Department of Athletics is accepting applications immediately for a Graduate Assistant position in the office of Compliance.
This position will monitor and oversee recruiting activity for University coaching staffs, participate in various rules education initiatives, review and approve logs for countable athletically related activities, assist with administration of the National Letter of Intent program, oversee Special Assistance Fund operations, and provide overall support in the administration of the compliance effort at the University.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required with preference given to individuals with prior experience in intercollegiate athletics. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to use relevant computer software are required. Experience with NCAA Compliance Assistant is preferred.
Must be admissible to graduate assistant ship standards at the University and be accepted in a designated degree-granting program. Annual compensation includes a $10,000 stipend (twelve month contract) and tuition waiver. Student is responsible for any fees. Position begins June 2012 and runs until May 2013 and is renewable (pending approval) for a second year.
