Description The Global Sales and Marketing Organization at CSC is seeking a high energy, creative marketing professional that has a desire to be part of a high growth, fast paced environment. The market dynamics are changing and we are leading a transformation within CSC. The Global Solution Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing CSC's global go-to-market (GTM) programs aligned to the strategy and priorities within the assigned cross-industry solution(s) and global alliance(s). The individual in this role will work within Global Sales & Marketing (GSM), Global Field Marketing Organization and will be dotted line to two key stakeholders; the Global Portfolio Executive for solutions work and the Global Alliance Director for the Alliance support. This individual will work across organizational structures to engage the designated marketing teams in the Global Business Units, Regions and Verticals to align and create effective closed loop marketing programs that drive revenue growth. Key to success will be to fully leverage CSC and partner marketing investments. The primary objective will be to establish the right portfolio mix of demand generation activities that are aligned with the business unit needs and drive business results while maintaining accountability for meeting key marketing performance metrics including the following: Sales Qualified Leads, Closed/Won Contribution, Marketing Contribution as % of Pipeline and Marketing ROI. Duties and Responsibilities · Drive the development and execution of a global demand generation marketing strategy and annual plan for the assigned solution area(s) designed to impact business results based upon a gap-to-goal approach. Track, measure and report on results. · In cooperation with the Global Alliance Director, drive the development of a joint go-to-market strategy for the assigned strategic alliance(s). Develop and execute the annual demand generation marketing plan and internal communications plan for the assigned strategic alliance. Solicit and leverage joint marketing investments. Accountable for securing a minimum of a 1:1 dollar match on joint GTM programs with strategic GTM partners. Track and measure results. · Create Campaign-in-a-box type programs that can be replicated and customized by geographies and across industries. Publish to marketing community via marketing catalog and calendar. · Leverage P/R, A/R, Creative Design, Digital, Communications, Internet Marketing and all marketing capabilities to implement E2E aligned and integrated marketing programs. · Collaborate with and CSC Portal teams to leverage the digital marketing assets to maximize business results. Align relevant content, messaging & positioning with solution and alliances GTM priorities & objectives. · Contribute to the development of a CSC Customer Intelligence strategy to streamline and centralize contact management, customer/prospect targeting. Align GTM plans with the contact strategy to enhance marketing leverage and ROI. · Manage, coordinate and execute the key CSC customer and partner events as assigned (e.g.; SAP Sapphire, Oracle Open World, VMworld, etc.) Contribute to field facing events (e.g., Global Sales Conference). · Contribute to the development of and measure campaign results according to a campaign metrics reporting protocol designed to measure the ROI of marketing activities. · Align with Global Sales Enablement Director to provide sales tools and sales communications for solution and alliances campaigns. · Develop, track, and manage the marketing budget including direct, virtual and partner contributions. The successful candidate will possess: · 12 or more years of related marketing experience with experience working in large global teams · Bachelor's degree required, MBA with marketing concentration preferred · Demonstrated experience in development and execution of effective demand generation programs · Demonstrated experience in marketing tier one vendor relationships required · Ability to establish influential partnerships at all levels · Experience managing global budgets with multiple funding organizations · Experience working with an IT services company, partner products and services, business industry and competitor products and services · International marketing experience required · Experience working with marketing strategies and policies · Demonstrated ability to define and translate value propositions to client/market understanding · Strong analytical, communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills · Ability to solve problems effectively with a results oriented approach · Strong program management, project management and implementation skills Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Master's degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related field preferred
Twelve or more years of marketing experience
Nine or more years of supervisory or management experience included
Experience working with marketing strategies and policies
Experience working with company products and services, business industry and competitor products and services
Experience working with budgets and plans
