E-Business Marketing Specialist
Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

In this position, you will use your e-technology and creative talent in a fast-paced, ever-changing and high-growth environment. The E-Business Specialist’s role will be to coordinate, direct, and integrate Henry Schein’s e-commerce Web sites, services, and applications for the purpose of smooth business-to-business and business-to-customer transactions. This includes the development of e-commerce and e-business strategies for leveraging organizational procedures and processes via the Internet to increase usage and sales. Working closely with Web development staff to ensure the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s Web portfolio, you have an understanding of a variety of Web development languages.
The E-Business Marketing Specialist will plan and manage highly effective multi-touch campaigns that support the organization's strategies and goals. As a high achiever, you contribute individually, as well as part of a results focused team. You have exceptional communication, analytical, and organization skills and thrive under pressure. You possess a university degree in Marketing, with a proven understanding of e-business technologies, along with a strong computer background.
Requirements:
As part of our marketing team based in our Niagara Region corporate office, the E-Business Marketing Specialist has four major areas of focus:
- Web Marketing
- Develop marketing and sales programs that significantly expand the number of customers adopting web buying
- Establish and maintain effective monthly and quarterly eCommerce reporting and tracking systems that measure results toward predetermined goals
- Web Merchandising
- Using Microsoft Marketing Manager Develop and maintain an active eBusiness merchandising program that generates significant up-sell and cross-sell business through our web and e-blast programs
- Work with vendors to create and maintain an active program of vendor ads that increase sales volume
- Social Media
- Strategically develop and expand our involvement in social media, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- E-Blasts
- Working in partnership with other member of the Henry Schein Team, develop and maintain an active program of e-blasts designed to generate new sales, as well as develop the Henry Schein brand
