E-Commerce- Customer Acquisition Manager

My client, a consumer product company is looking for a Customer Acquisition Manager for their offices in Boca Raton. The position requires experience managing the internet advertising function within a multi-channel environment. This individual will be responsible for providing expert knowledge to measure new customer acquisition, website performance and marketing campaigns. Candidate must understand the structure of website, web marketing, SEO, PPC, shopping portals, affiliates, retargeting and other internet advertising sources and be able to work with the VP of Marketing to make recommendations on development initiatives including new customer acquisition, marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM strategy to coordinate with other on-line and off-line initiatives. This position is responsible for reviewing customer acquisition performance using analytics tool and making changes to on-line marketing campaigns on a daily basis, as needed to optimize sales performance and customer acquisition efforts. 


PLEASE NOTE:
To be considered for this position, you MUST have experience working in house for a Corporation (Agency experience alone will not be considered) and strong E-Commerce experience.  No relocation assistance provided. If you are looking to relocate on your own, please indicate in your submission.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage customer acquisition and execution of online marketing strategies in alignment with direct and retail marketing channels to drive revenue and profitability under leadership and
    direction of the VP of Marketing.
  • Manage internal and external resources/vendors to meet marketing department program
    goals, deadlines and revenue/cost goals. Identify and make recommendations for opportunities to increase relevance, increase optimization/conversion, and attract new customers.
  • Apply direct marketing principles, industry best practices, and testing discipline to evaluate the effectiveness of customer acquisition marketing campaigns, website landing pages and internet marketing efforts to maximize new customer acquisition with a positive return on investment. This individual will review the results and measure the impact of internet marketing strategies and efforts across the organization, report outcomes and make recommendations to V.P. of Marketing.
  • Manage processes required to design, execute and measure on-line marketing and advertising efforts.
  • Work with Art and web production teams to coordinate the visual presentation and implementation of advertising and landing pages to execute customer acquisition efforts. Monitor advertising
    and landing page performance, make recommendations, and execute changes as needed.
  • Work with copywriters to direct optimizing web page copy, articles, press releases, blogs and other content required to optimize online keyword rankings. Monitor, measure and manage online keyword rankings.
  • Manage an online advertising budget to meet overall company customer acquisition, sales and profitability goals.
  • Work directly with IT to recommend and communicate necessary web page changes to
    optimize SEO efforts.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years managing and leading internet customer acquisition and advertising function in an integrated multi-channel marketing environment. Direct marketing experience is preferred.  
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferable in marketing, business administration or finance.
  • SEO/SEM, PPC and internet advertising experience required.  SEO strategy expertise including keyword optimization, webpage content, blogging, link building, articles, press releases, video and UGC required.
  • Expertise with content management tools, website tagging, links, website analytics tools and measurements required.  Google analytics experience preferred.
  • Experience with marketing testing, execution, and results analysis required.
  • Proven ability to improve internet ROI, customer acquisition, customer response, retention, and repurchase rates through a variety of marketing on-line efforts. 
  • Internet and advertising vendor management experience required.
  • Experience with direct marketing techniques and online best practices required.
  • Affiliate program and comparison shopping engine management experience preferred.
  • Offline advertising experience a plus.
