JOB DESCRIPTION
Cable One is searching for highly motivated, results driven Division Marketing Manager. The primary focus of this position is to provide local marketing support and tactics to selected systems within an Operating Division. Working with local system management team members and collaborating with Corporate Marketing staff, the position oversees the smooth operation of all marketing channels used in the system. Duties include 1) generating sales leads for all sales channels (residential sales, web sales, business sales), 2) extending the brand image on a local basis and 3) managing public and community relations. This position reports to the Division Vice President and the Corporate Vice President of Marketing and will interface closely with the sales, marketing and customer service teams across the organization. The position will be located in Cable One’s corporate offices in Phoenix, Arizona.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and five plus years previous marketing experience in a telecommunications or consumer product environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with forecasting and budget management.
Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
High level of integrity, honesty and always respectful of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Serve as the primary contact between system/division and corporate marketing.
Manage the local marketing budgets to generate sales leads utilizing mediums that include television, direct mail, print, radio, FSIs and door tags.
Investigate and implement turnkey programmer promotions.
Extend the brand image throughout the community using television spots, print, radio and billboards, as appropriate.
Work with corporate marketing and system management to implement local and corporate acquisition programs including; setting and managing to budget, structuring the offer within approved guidelines, developing communication strategies and managing local media.
Measure and evaluate acquisition (cost per lead) and retention (cost per save) effectiveness and provides feedback to corporate marketing.
Work closely with the system General Manager and Division Sales Manager to coordinate and communicate system marketing activities.
Conduct ongoing analysis of performance, including tracking and analyzing of marketing campaigns, weekly monitoring and report of actual performance to budget.
Analyzes competitive performance and recommend appropriate actions.
Monitor system RGU churn and use company/local initiatives to meet churn goals.
Manage local public relations efforts, community activities, press releases and other local communications. Develop and maintain a relationship with local media.
Manage marketing cross channel television schedules and local media schedules to maximize ad awareness, brand imagery and direct response.
Utilize local point of sale signage to drive product awareness and brand awareness.
