Your Responsibilities:
1. Key Areas of Accountability/ Responsibility:
A. Develop solid and long-term influential relationships with key decision makers at all levels in the assigned distributor. B. Develop in depth knowledge and understanding of the distributor and customers applications and industry, value chain, applications, end markets to exploit all available business opportunities C. Initiate and report design-in programs and identify new projects in co-ordination with BU’s/ BL´s utilizing internal forecast tool. D. Propose and agree on revenue goals and budgets. Increase sales, market share and ensure contract fulfillment to achieve or exceed budget. E. Support distributor end customers - visit and make sure aligned with end customer distribution strategy to support and win at these accounts. . F. Prepare forecast. Understand and interpret top customer and distributor supply chain, production plans, ramp-up/-downs, G. Work closely with customer service and Quote Center personnel to provide product and pricing information. . Report back on competition. H. Understand service level request of the distributor and their customers and measures performance accordingly (vendor rating). Drives improvement activities as needed to improve customer loyalty. I. Develop and maintain an intimate working knowledge of the distributors supply chain from demand creation through demand fulfillment and manufacturing. J. Target key design-in opportunities and tailor NXP value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage. K. Ensures required internal and external reporting takes place.
Your Profile:
• Clear understanding of RF customers, designs, and applications. Ability to clearly outline RF Lineups, from power to small signal for key customers of the distributor. • High systems / applications solutions complexity, specifically in the RF area • Abilitity to train distributors and customers on RF power and SS solutinos, and align our products to applicatins. Organizational context/ reporting relationship:
The Distribution Corporate AM reports directly to the Americas Director of Distribution. There are no employees/ Subordinates: Cooperates with colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams within NXP to leverage opportunities.
Personal/ job requirements:
• Track-record (5 years plus) of success in commercial roles or customer facing business roles •Solid experience in Semiconductors industry – minimum of 5 years •Experience in RF SS or Power product market and sales • Engineering background (BSEE or equivalent), good technology understanding in the relevant technology area •Excellent communication skills and presentation skills •Good social and interpersonal skills •Multi-culturally sensitive, able to adapt behaviour to situation •Process and quality oriented
