Director of Technical Marketing (BI / DW)
Manages product portfolio and its associated P&L including Market analysis, roadmap definition and funding, and marketing activities designed to increase product sales growth and expand market share. Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all portfolio and product definition activities as well as the marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives. Develops and implements marketing policies, programs and activities related to market research, marcom and promotion, product/brand management and product development and pricing. Identifies, evaluates and resolves business issues, manages budget and provides leadership to the Marketing function. Supports and guides the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the broader business team.
Leads a team of managers responsible for carrying out the objectives of the department or work area.
Leads teams in understanding the link between Dell objectives and their contributions.
Develops budgets, schedules and performance requirements.
Builds long-term development and succession plans.
Applies influence and negotiation skills to drive business results.
Collaborates with key stakeholders both internal and external.
Serves as important liaison to external contacts (customers and vendors).
ssumes responsibility for sales objectives.
Job Requirements
Deep understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
Prior experience driving Marketing and Go to Market activities for BI/DW.
Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience.
