Tapper’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, a local, multi-generation family owned business established in 1977, has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic and creative professional who can provide strategic marketing direction and further enhance Tapper’s stellar reputation for the highest quality standards, personalized service, integrity and community support. The Director will handle Marketing activities for all three retail stores (West Bloomfield, Troy and Novi) along with the 10+ Tapper’s Gold Exchange locations.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to overseeing:
Media Placement and Budgeting
Co-Op Advertising
Internal and External Communications
Special Events
Public Relations
Creative and Production Efforts
Website and Magazine
Management of Marketing and Communication team members
Only those candidates with a Bachelor’s degree will be considered. In addition, significant marketing expertise within a luxury goods retailer recognized for outstanding customer service is required. Prior experience with a variety of media sources including TV, radio, print and social media is essential for success in this role.
