Director of Creative Services
The Drake Company, an integrated corrugated packaging and display company in Houston, Texas, is seeking a highly talented, experienced, Director of Creative Services. This individual must have 8 - 10 years experience leading creative teams and have heavy POP retail experience. This person will be the key resource for all creative ideation and direction for company.
This person will implement and utilize highly creative vision and talents to oversee all creative output for The Drake Company. This person will provide inspiration, direction and leadership to Drake Ideas which includes Graphic and Structural Designers. The Creative Director will partner with Sales, Customer Service and Production in order to provide exceptional products to our customers.
Requirements:
Requirements/Qualifications:
*8 - 10 years as Creative Director.
*8 - 10 years proven experience managing and leading creative teams.
*Disciplined graphic artist and illustrator.
*Experience in providing creative direction, overseeing and maintaining company website.
*Heavy POP retail experience.
Required Skills:
*Strong management and leadership abilities.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Proficient in Artios CAD, 3-D Programs such Strata or Solid Works and Creative Suite 4(CS4).
Other Information:
*Degree, or education equivalent, in Graphic Design ? Preferred.
*Portfolio demonstrating extraordinary creative abilities.
*Marketing/Branding acumen essential
*Experience in corrugated packaging and the incorporation of alternative materials ? preferred.
*Experience in working with Marketing or Advertising Agencies - preferred
