  Director of Annuity Marketing    Our nationally recognized and well respected client is adding to its marketing department leadership team. We are looking for a “hands on” leader to help build our client into one of the top players in a segment of the market where they are well established. The ability to build the brand, improve upon the distribution channels, and get results in an improving climate are some of the challenges for this opportunity. This is an insurance company with outstanding financial strength and this is an unbelievable role for someone to really make a difference. As an executive with this organization you will help drive strategy and tactical campaigns and projects as a leader of our Annuity Marketing Organization to increase sales and brand awareness. We are seeking an individual with strong marketing management experience to:  

• develop and execute marketing strategy to increase annuity sales;
• increase our client’s brand recognition in key markets;
• collaborate with key functional areas to identify gaps and take advantage of sales opportunities;
• aggregate metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing programs;
• manage a high performing annuity marketing team to build collaborative processes;
•  lead the team and direct corporate marketing, to set realistic direction, and to manage vision;
• have a sense of urgency and a clear understanding of the business needs to prioritize projects.    

 Our ideal candidate will: 

• MUST have annuity and/or financial services industry marketing experience;
• be a strategic thinker with demonstrated strong creative marketing ability who will participate in leading strategy;
• personally manage specific projects from a tactical level and be able to produce examples of campaigns;
• have a track record of successful management experience;
• have excellent communication and presentation skills;
• think independently yet be able to be effective in a collaborative environment;
• have strong leadership qualities that foster creativity yet provide structure;
• possess 10+ years of marketing experience;
• hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.
