Director, Marketing- Because I Am A Girl Status Permanent Full-time position Responsibilities Because I am a Girl is Plan Canada's five (5) year, nation-wide campaign to enlist Canadians to raise awareness, funds and inspiration for millions of girls around the world. We launched our public campaign in September 2009 and are now beginning to work on our year two (2) plans to continue building on the current momentum. We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and creative leader to join the team. This role report to the Executive Vice President, Marketing. This role is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Lead mass marketing program for Plan Canada's Because I Am A Girl campaign-Plan Canada's largest campaign ever launched Deliver strong brand awareness and revenue over five years Lead, coach and mentor a team of two full-time Marketing professionals Develop strategies and tactics for on-line and off-line advertising for the BIAAG campaign Develop programs for youth outreach Develop Celebrity strategies and programs Optimize digital experience including social media networks and websites Develop marketing programs for a duel target of young girls and their mothers Develop strategies for integrating BIAAG messages across existing Plan products/programs Develop marketing strategies for Public Relation events and drive execution of partnering with third party fundraisers in lead generation for donor acquisition Strategic Marketing Lead promoting the vision and sustainability of the BIAAG program Liaise and forge strong strategic business partnerships with Plan Canada's IT, Communications, Acquisition departments and third party vendors Strategically build quantity and quality BIAAG media brand and leverage outputs and resources Manage Agency partnerships Manage overall BIAAG budget and revenue Experience/ Qualifications Skills Minimum of 6 years of leading teams Minimum of 8 years of brand marketing Undergraduate Business degree or a Masters in Business Administration Strong team leader with an ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams and agency partners Flexible approach to deal with ambiguity and rapid change - a can do approach Strong written, communication and presentation skills.
