Director of Emergency Hazmat Spill Response
Hulcher Services is a recognized leader in the environmental services and emergency response industry for over 40 years, with 35 strategically located divisions throughout North America. This is a full time, salaried position with a full benefits package. The position will be located in the Dallas/Ft Worth Area.
Position Summary: ? Responsible for growing market share of environmental services line. ? Assists with preparation of bids and proposals. ? Manages work on job sites, in a safe efficient manner. ? Completes projects on schedule and within budget. ? Provides technical advice to resolve issues.
Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as HAZMAT Assists in developing, implementing, and administering hazardous site safety plans Assigns and monitors work being performed by Company personnel and subcontractors Coordinates with Directors and Senior Managers and other individuals with preparation of bids and proposals Coordinates with Senior Division Manager and Division Managers in procurement of labor, equipment, materials and subcontractors for projects Oversees accounting and other paperwork on a project level Ensures that equipment is maintained to published standards Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project Confers with management staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree preferred; A minimum of 5+ years related experience in managing hazardous materials emergency response operations or equivalent combination of education and experience. CHMM certification is preferred.
Required Certification/Licensure: HAZMAT, extensive knowledge of railcars (Tank Car Course or equivalent experience), Incident Commander, CPR, First Aid, Industrial Safety Management, Valid Driver?s License.
