Director, Corporate Communications
The Director, Corporate Communications plays a critical role working with the VP, Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy. The Director uses all means of communications (including social media) and actively calls upon resources in Marketing, Creative Media, and other business unit/ functions in order to actively engage employees.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the internal communications team to:
Ensure that the team performs effectively, and develops as a professional unit
Manage work product and projects to ensure highest quality delivered completely and on time
Work with the VP, Corporate Communications and business unit contacts to establish and manage to the annual budget
Work closely with key stakeholders within the business units / functional areas to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate strategic communication plans that support the Constellation Energy brand and educate employees on key business issues. While the focus is on internal communications, the Director may also assist with external communications as needed.
Responsible for effectively and aggressively communicating corporate transformation goals to help accomplish the overall corporate mission.
Provides counsel and guidance to senior management, colleagues and employees at all levels within the organization.
Oversees management of the corporate intranet content, design and maintenance.
