IT Technical Account Management / Biz Dev - Healthcare
My client is a pioneer in Outsourced Product Development (aka OPD) having created award winning software for numerous top techno-centric firms around the world. Founded 1991 and with over 1100 engineers developing their innovative solutions in multiple Indian locations that are unrivaled for low turnover in a market famed for the opposite. They have been profitable since the 1st year of operations and are completely self-funded. They have a unique model that allows their sales teams to sell and, once sold, the accounts are turned over to (generally onsite) account managers who also act as solution architects to work with the vendor management team, CTO and others on the process of ideation. While they are a small company they successfully compete head-to-head with many of the largest Indian offshore firms they have a solid reputation for innovation and nimbleness that is garnering awards, accolades AND new revenue.

We need a Dir. Account Management/Solution Architect to be the key person onsite with a very high growth client in the Atlanta area. We need a personable and savvy client Dir. Account Management/Solution Architect with solid technical knowledge, skills and appreciation of SaaS, Cloud/Big Data/Analytics as well as mobility apps. This client is a premier company considered a "top place to work" in the area, with significant numbers of people on their campus - an A+ environment. We are looking for a creative technical solution mindset that can live with the best of the best. This is an individual contributor role - NOT a management role - there are no reports. Savvy business development skills are a must because the raison d'être is to grow the footprint.
Keys to this role: > 10+ years of experience in a similar role with global clients in the healthcare sector > Experience working with the development of cutting/bleeding edge applications and platforms > MS and a business degree would be the ideal educational background > Thought leadership with a track record of success in large client and project oversight > Able to manage growth of accounts through client-centric business development > Able to handle long and odd hours; dealing with India timezone & culture challenges > Background as a developer or architect would be ideal because of need to relate to technologists & CTO's > Will identify other deal opportunities within existing clients - doing the upfront to grow the footprint > Personality that's credible - can't appear to be a salesman but, rather; a solid client executive > Kind of a "geek who speaks" who loves technology, is creative, savvy and can sell without "selling" > Experience with Big4 or tier one offshore providers would be of keen interest o Product experience - hardware, software, telecom, etc. will not get their attention o Pureplay IT services is the key > Job jumpers will NOT get ANY traction with this client; stability is paramount with them > Looking for a rising star who has done this job before and is ready for the next career step forward o But... if you have to be a manager of people or climb the corporate ladder it's not a fit > We need someone who actually "gets it" and has been IN THE INDIAN OFFSHORE SERVICES SPACE
The base range is fairly open with a target of $115K - $135K+ with upside bonus that will take the total potential to $140K to $185K+ with benefits.
