Digital Production Manager
To serve as the Company's main contact, both internally and externally, for eBook queries and requests
Coordinate with the IT and Web Development Groups on eCommerce setup and eBook solutions, the Print Production Department and Conversion partners on timelines and scheduling, the Metadata Manager and external partners to meet standardized metadata requirements, the Helpdesk to troubleshoot eBook accessibility challenges as well as the Editorial and Sales Departments to help develop custom eBook solutions
Help develop and refine the workflow surrounding eBook delivery to the Company's markets
Explore solutions for next generation eBook file formats and delivery systems
Must be able to work full business hours
At least four years experience in publishing, or associated sector, with a background in eCommerce, eBooks, and/or 3rd party vendor relations.
Must be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with print production, print editorial, eMedia editorial, marketing, operations, IT and web developers
Must demonstrate excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills with a focus on reporting
Must be highly disciplined and self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects with different specific conditions for success
