Location and team
KEMA's Marketing team is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to be responsible for the creation, execution, and management of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO & SEM, outreach, traffic retention and growth, integration of digital platforms, and data analysis and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams and the marketing staff, this individual is expected to manage campaigns with internal clients, outside partners, and stakeholders. This position is based out of our Burlington, MA U.S. headquarters.

Tasks may include

  • Provide input into corporate website structure and content, create micro-sites, landing pages, and other web-based assets
  • Build and maintain social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and new/emerging platforms such as location-based social media
  • Coordinate with global marketing colleagues to support global social media channels
  • Create and execute advanced social media strategy and campaigns that create a buzz
  • Write and edit community marketing materials, blog posts and other social media content
  • Manage communication to internal teams about campaign efforts/results
  • Leverage relationships with key influencers, such as bloggers, industry-based insiders, influential YouTube reviewers, etc.
  • Lead all digital outreach efforts behind key efforts such as contests, promotions and events
  • Manage all communications with marketing team, and update executive team on a regular basis
  • On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all digital marketing activities, and assess against goals; identify trends and insights, and optimize plan based on these insights
  • Schedule and organize multiple departments, which generate content on a regular basis
  • Lead and manage SEO/SEM campaigns
  • Conduct keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases
  • Tag and title content to leverage natural search traffic and rankings
  • Manage and track link-building campaigns
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Manage all direct email activities and banner advertising programs

What we're asking

  • Bachelors degree in art, science, marketing, and/or business
  • 3-7 years experience, with increasing responsibility, in advertising, PR, online marketing, and brand-based social marketing in an agency, corporate, or non-profit setting, including direct experience with:
    • Paid Search, SEM, SEO, Organic Search, Natural Search, and Social Strategies
    • Blogging and professional use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Passion for digital marketing and ability to consistently stay ahead of market trends
  • High creativity; ability to generate ideas and execute against them
  • Demonstrated ability to map out a marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Some experience with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Demonstrable success in search engine optimization
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Eagerness to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Strong social marketing background and recent experience developing web-based community platforms
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities and balance market needs with business priorities

What we're offering
KEMA offers a congenial working environment and an exceptional benefits package including annual bonus, profit sharing, 401k matching, and 20 days per year of Earned Time Off. This position offers a salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
