Job Description Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Customer Support Representative - III in Hydraulics Marketing in the Industrial Sector organization. This position will be located in Cleveland, TN.

The Customer Support Representative - III is expected to Process orders (new, changes, cancels) for marine/military customers, both domestic and international. Reconcile OEM blanket releases and customer forecasts. The focus of this position is error-free order management. Responsible for maintaining accurate customer information, validating price, verifying order terms and conditions, confirming routing rules and entering shipment, quantity and date information.

The key responsibilities of this position includes:
Enters new orders from customers through multiple order entry systems, with emphasis on error-free order management and same-day order entry.
Enters changes and cancellations from customers through multiple order entry systems, using established business rules. Emphasis is on error-free order management and same-day order entry.
Answers phone calls from marine/military customers to ensure customer satisfaction by validating orders in the system against customer order reports on a weekly basis.
Maintains accurate and organized order files and order acknowledgments
Maintains accurate customer part number cross-reference files and accurate customer contact information
Reviews and makes appropriate changes to order booking using available tools
Communicates in a timely manner with planning and scheduling to verify lead times, schedule customer orders according to their delivery needs and communicate special handling requests. Communicates in a timely manner with external customers about order verification, order status, pricing and shipment status.
Assists in processing of emergency and/or expedited orders and shipments
Provides written summaries of customer order activity and issues on a weekly or monthly basis
Promotes customer satisfaction and achieves cycle time reduction through team-based problem-solving
Distributes and routes incoming faxes and assists peers and Field Sales with additional customer support activities
Fosters an environment which promotes Eaton's goals and philosophy, encourages continuous improvement and builds customer relationships

Relocation is not offered for this position. Only qualified candidates who reside within commuting distance of an Eaton office will be considered for this position.

Job Qualifications
/Educational Requirements Understanding of Eaton business processes & systems
Data entry skills, including proofreading
Team-oriented problem solving skills
MS Word, Excel, order management (including but not limited to Oracle, Tolas, and MFG/PRO) software programs
Phone skills and customer communication skills
Organization and time management skills
Mathematical skills
Reasoning ability
Understanding of ISO procedures for contract management
