Corporate Communications Writer / Project Manager
Are you a talented and energetic writer and marketing professional We are looking to add someone with experience and polish to our corporate marketing team. In this position, you will work closely with senior management, communications staff, PR agency, and media outlets to produce a wide variety of content, including byline articles, op-ed pieces, blog postings, social media material, advertorials, and speeches. You will also assist with the development, production, and dissemination of newsletters and other forms of thought-leadership content.

Responsibilities:
Develop and write media and marketing content in a variety of print, online, and presentation formats, delivered in accordance with standards for quality, budget, and timeliness.
Copy edit and proofread material to ensure quality and corporate standards for a range of media and marketing copy, external and internal communications, presentations, newsletters, white papers, and research matter.
Act as project manager for communications and marketing assignments, including media engagements, newsletters, blog/social media postings, advertorials, media archives, and contact databases. Complete special communications projects and other duties as assigned.
Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree — preferably in English, journalism, communications, or marketing.
Five to seven years of experience in writing, copy editing/proofreading, and marketing project management.
Strong writing and editing skills. Experience in ghostwriting and varied media and marketing copy styles. Ability to transform complicated subject matter and diverse source material into coherent and engaging communications for a variety of external and internal audiences. Basic graphic design and print production skills.
Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with all levels of staff, management, media, and other external communications and marketing constituents.
Ability to work independently, sound aptitude for research, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
