-Create All ScheduAll/Sharepoint Workorders for DES 7 from RT Ticket Requests.
-Create R/T (Request Tracker) Accounts for Clients.
-Responsible for producing departmental reports for DES tracking and billing.
-E1 Batches and Charge Back DES Weekly Report.
-Has extended knowledge of both PC and MAC platforms.
-Drive Exports for Digital Delivery to Partners and Client.
-Create Longform Archive WOs for MXF creation of assets (including Network promos) needed for all Platforms.
-Ensure accurate charges in SharePoint for each function performed. This is contingent upon assets delivered by the Networks, their requirements for delivery, and the workflow needed to be performed by DES in order to achieve the proper encode/transcode.
-Review each WO in detail when submitting billing reports (Budget Codes, Charges, Run Times) and working in tandem with fellow coordinators in order to achieve proper weekly and monthly billing.
-Knowledge of Broadcast Tape Machines and Video Vector Scope a plus.
-Encodes, performs -Visually/Technically Qc's-, and ingests digital assets for the digital archive.
-Monitors Alias dashboard for progress of jobs through Digital Media Ingest Workflow and sends notification upon completion.
-Creates files for MTVN fingerprinting initiative from tape or feed deliveries.
-Serve as liaison between Networks, scheduling/metadata team and encoding staff: -communicate with Library/Networks regarding new/replacement promos that need to be ingested into the Library Archive. -check on delivery of soon to be SAME DAY or known RUSH tapes/files to minimize extra charges/pushing of Air Dates. -seek clarification from Library/Networks when tapes or Digital files are delivered with incorrect labels/slates or other questionable circumstances.
-Approve, seek approval or coordinate redelivery of assets due to errors reviewed in collaboration with an encoder (this currently also involves checking other Library Masters or NOC Air Copies).
-Receive Closed Captioning assets (tapes) and prep along with WOs for encoding. Track for billing.
-Assist in EPIX, NOC Broadcast tapes, Vault and NOC/regular Library Archive Projects by entering Longform WOs and picking up/returning tapes to the Concourse Library.
