An opportunity exists to join Standard & Poor's as Coordinator - Analytical Support Unit (Ratings Operations) based in Singapore. The incumbent will provides support for non-analytical tasks throughout the ratings process from pre-analysis to release of the ratings including the post release documentation and reporting. It entails regular interaction with internal customers and sometimes with external information providers.
Responsibilities * Undertake project related work as required and helping with project specific tasks. * Assist analyst in Issuer correspondence and ticket resolutions as needed * Help analysts with meeting packages for issuer meetings or outreach activities. * Provide back-up to all other ASU whenever needed * Follow up on surveillance aging reports * Help in implementing process improvement initiatives by working closely with Ratings Operations team * Compile and create regional operational metrics like CORE error reports, RPM exceptions etc. Identify root causes and preventive actions. * Attend all compliance, policies and procedure related trainings * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required * Minimum of 3 - 5 years work experience in related fields * Exposure to an analytical environment and understanding of the rating process is required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a particular focus on customer service; at the same time they should be assertive in order to ensure compliance * An ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment is very important. * Be proactive, well organized and details oriented * Business Level English language capability required (additionally other Asian language would be a plus) * Must be eligible to work in Singapore.
