Overview:

The Account Coordinator/Project Manager is responsible for acting as a liaison between clients, Account Representatives, Senior Account Executives, marketing, information services and production. Responsibilities include defining and interpreting detailed client requests and developing project management instructions for each department and manage the status of all projects.


Responsibilities:

Manage the successful execution of client programs within a team environment by preparing and monitoring accurate job instruction to the information services, marketing, production and shipping departments. Specifications may include market research, list orders, USPS specifications, inkjet and laser printing formats, offset printing requirements, inserting and labeling specifications, data processing variables, receiving and transportation guidelines.

Manage any client or interdepartmental issues that occur to insure that client satisfaction is achieved.

Develop relationships within the client accounts to ensure service levels and project expectations are achieved. Identify upsell opportunities and work with sales to advise and facilitate.

Communicate with clients on a daily basis on the status of campaigns, providing solutions, recommending alternative strategies and resolving issues on a timely and accurate basis.

Monitor the progress of all assigned jobs and take appropriate action to ensure client satisfaction.

Effectively communicate client information to Sales Executives, Account Representatives, supervisor and managers to ensure project expectations are met.

Manage vendor relationships when outsourcing is necessary.

Procure lists for client projects. Issue POs, manage counts and order flow.

Procure print for client projects. Negotiate price, issue PO and facilitate sign-offs to ensure quality product.

Prepare and review client specific billing statements and detail for completed campaigns and insure accuracy and timeliness of all invoices.

Develop and maintain account specific documentation on all programs, continually update all processes and recommend new work flow procedures.


Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent related experience.

* At least one to three years of client service experience in a direct mail environment.

* Requires thorough knowledge of the direct marketing processes, developing relationships with clients and prospects, integration of sales and executional strategy, data processing methods & terminology, lettershop methods and capabilities.

* Requires knowledge of the USPS for business mail and automation mail requirements.

* Requires computer skills including experience with and the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook including proprietary systems. Experience with Printstream a plus.

* Requires proficient verbal, written communication skills, negotiating, organization and time management.

* Must work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy, managing competing priorities, attention to detail under moving deadlines.
